You should choose the product that best suits you, your taste, your preferences, your boat, and your budget. However, we want to emphasize that MarineMat® has quite a few advantages over all types of synthetic teak available on the market. Here are a few:

  • MarineMat® does not get hot in the sun; most synthetic teak types do!
  • MarineMat® is a custom-made product that is manufactured according to your wishes in terms of design, color, color combinations, and optionally logos and/or boat names. You won’t find that in other deck coverings!
  • MarineMat® is much more comfortable than synthetic teak!

According to us, no!

However, an important note: MarineMat® is manufactured in sheets. A sheet has a maximum size of 215 x 106cm. So, if you want to place MarineMat® on a surface larger than this size, the design needs to be crafted in such a way that multiple sections are created. This also has the advantage of good water drainage and a unique design.

Absolutely. A somewhat handy DIY enthusiast can do this.

That depends on the make, model, and year of your boat. Templates are available for a large number of American sport boats. MarineMat® saves each design and stores it digitally. So, there’s a good chance that a digital template is already available for your boat. Ask us!
